Day 1:

Arrive into Venezia, La Serenissima, Queen of the Adriatic, city of canals and palaces. For a thousand years the city was one of the most enduring mercantile sea powers on the face of the earth. On arrival at the San Marco Airport a private transfer will take you. Check-in at hotel. Enjoy a romantic and relaxing afternoon. Get away from the crowds in St Marks Square and get lost in the maze of winding alleyways. A magical walk around the area of the Fenice, Sant'Angelo and Santo Stefano with a guide, up to Santa Maria del Giglio gondola station where you will enjoy a trip on the most romantic boat in the world: the gondola. An unforgettable Venetian experience! During the gondola ride you will see part of the famous Canal Grande and other less frequented canals (the gondola ride will be provided either before or after the walk, depending on weather conditions).. Day 2:
Venice Island Tour |
Today after breakfast, proceed to sailing past the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, the Public Gardens, the tip of Sant'Elena and the famous Lido beach resort, the boat arrives in Murano, known throughout the world for its glass manufacturing industry. Here we stop for around 40 minutes to visit to one of the factories. The second stop is at the picturesque island of Burano, famous not only for its lace but also for the fishermen's houses painted in bright colours. The stop will last about 30 minutes. Then after a short cruise, we reach Torcello, the earliest centre of civilization in the estuary. Only the Cathedral with its magnificent mosaics and the church of Santa Fosca remain as testimony of its former glory. The stop will be for about 30 minutes then we return to St.Mark's Square. Day 3:
Florence |
Today After breakfast at the Hotel. You proceed to the Florence which is one of the most beautiful and ancient cities in Italy and the world. It gave birth to many of the men who have more profoundly influenced the course of human history in every field of knowledge, art, literature and philosophy. Most of the world artistic patrimony is believed to be here, in Florence. Check-in at hotel, The day is free. You can explore this overwhelming city of Beauty and culture by sampling walking around its ancient streets. Overnight at the Hotel. |
Day 4:
Florence-Pisa |
After Breakfast at the Hotel. A splendid excursion through the fertile and picturesque Tuscan countryside to the historic university city of Pisa, famous for its architectural beauty. Upon arrival in Pisa, guided walking tour of Piazza dei Miracoli, with the celebrated Leaning Tower (exterior), the Baptistery (exterior) and other important monuments. This is followed by a visit to the interior of the Cathedral, an unrivalled masterpiece of Romanesque art constructed between the 11th and 12th centuries. Free time at your disposal. Those who are interested can take a pleasant walk with our tour escort and reach Piazza dei Cavalieri, where you can admire the historic Scuola Normale, one of the most famous universities in the world. Day 5:
Naples |
Arrive in the Capital of the Campania Region of Italy- Naples Napoli in Italian. It sits on the coast on the northern edge of the Bay of Naples, one of the most beautiful bays in Italy. Check in to the Hotel. Day is free to relax. Tonight (on you own) you indulge your self the Pizza, one of Italy's most famous foods, originated in Naples and pizza is taken very seriously here. You'll find lots of great pizza places but be sure you look for one with a wood-burning oven! Overnight in Naples. |
Day 6:
Capri & Anacapri |
Today after Breakfast, proceed for a Full day excursion to Capri & Anacapri. From the harbour you board the Jet boat for the 45 minute crossing to Marina Grande, the port of Capri. Here you will then board motorboats and visit the Blue Grotto (if weather and sea conditions permit). Later you proceed for a panoramic tour of Capri Island eventually arriving at Anacapri situated at 280 meters above sea level from where you will have a onderful view of the bay of Naples. After lunch in a local restaurant(on your Own), you will then have some free time before returning to Marina Grande to board the boat back to Naples. Entering the port of Naples, don't miss this opportunity to admire the splendid Certosa of San Martino and the Royal Palace (a fortress of the 12th century). Tour ends after disembarkation. Rest of the day is free. Tonight (on you own) if you are Seafood savvy can indulge you self in Seafood which is an abundant and very good in Naples, The best is Spaggatti with clam and mussels. Day 7:
Rome |
Breakfast in the Hotel. Arrive into the Eternal City Rome. Check into the Hotel. Later proceed for a tour in this Imperial City the starting from Piazza Venezia with its impressive monument dedicated to King Victor Emanuel II and the Unknown Soldier you then continue on foot to the famous Piazza del Campidoglio designed by Michelangelo from where you will have a fantastic view of the Roman Forum. Our coach will continue by the Circus Maximus and the Pyramid of Caius Cestius before arriving at the Basilica of St. Paul outside the walls* (visit inside). The tour will be completed with a stop outside the imposing Colosseum. Return to the vicinity of your hotel. Time at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel. |
Day 8:
Rome |
Breakfast in the Hotel. A Visit to the Vatican Museum. The tour begins by through Piazza della Repubblica with the Fountain of the Nayads and following the ancient Aurelian walls which once surrounded the ancient city. En route you will see the famous Villa Borghese park and the northern gate of the ancient city leading into Piazza del Popolo where you will see an Egyptian obelisk dating back to the time of Ramses II. Finally, on arrival at the Vatican Walls, your guide will then lead you into the Vatican Museums* taking the beautiful Spiral staircase and continuing through the Gallery of the Tapestries and the Gallery of the Geographical Maps before arriving in the famous Sistine Chapel* with its magnificent fresco of the Last Judgement by Michelangelo. Return to the vicinity of your hotel. |
